It is a member of EDICIC-Asociación de Educación e Investigación en Ciencia de la Información de Iberoamérica y el Caribe, a “non-profit civil society that brings together institutions and people in the field of education and research dedicated to the university training of professionals in the scientific fields Information Science (Library, Documentation and Archival) in Ibero-America and the Caribbean”, former coordinator/president of that association; co-coordinator of the Digital Humanities Group, member of the International Society for Scientometrics and Infometrics, Association of Digital Humanities (AHDig), and BAD, Portuguese Association of Librarians and Archivists.

PhD and Master in Information Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in partnership with IBICT. Librarian formed by UNIRIO and a provisioned Archivist. Director of the Memory and Information Center (CMI), of the Casa de Rui Barbosa Foundation. Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Memory and Collections at Fundação Casa de Rui Barbosa. Editor-in-chief of the CMI electronic journal Memória e Informação. She was Director of the Center for Collections and Reader Services (CCSL) at the National Library Foundation. She was the Superintendent of Libraries for the State of Rio de Janeiro. She has several published works. She wrote the storybook Persona. She has experience in the area of Planning, Implementation and Management of Libraries and Networks, Event Organization, Research in Library Science, Libraries and Digital Repositories.
Marcia dos Santos Machado Vieira

She is a Portuguese language teacher and researcher: preachers, predication and referencing; discursive impersonalization; intensification; modalization. She coordinates the PREDICAR Project. She works in Cognitive-Functional Linguistics, Grammar of Constructions and Sociolinguistics. She is part of the Discurso & Grammática Group. She coordinates ANPOLL’s WG on Sociolinguistics and the International Forum on Sociolinguistics. She is a member of CEP-IESC / UFRJ. She is the editor of Diadorim: journal of linguistic and literary studies.

She holds a PhD in Linguistics and Portuguese Language from the Post-Graduate Program at UNESP/Araraquara, promoted by CNPq. She held, in Portugal, at the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Arts (FLUL) and Linguistics Center (CLUL), a PDEE Doctoral internship promoted by CAPES. Post-doctorate at the Postgraduate Program in Linguistics and Portuguese Language at UNESP-Campus de Araraquara (2019-2020, in the area of Sociolinguistics), with a PNPD/CAPES scholarship. She is currently a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM-Uberaba), working in the undergraduate courses in Letters and in the Professional Master’s Degree Program in Letters (PROFLETRAS) at UFTM.
