Diana Luz Pessoa de Barros is professor emeritus at the University of São Paulo, for which she is also a Ph.D. 1991 to 1993 and general secretary of the Association of Linguistics and Philology of Latin America from 2008 to 2014. He taught at Universidade de São Paulo from 1973 to 2003, also teaching at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.

Maria Bernadete M. Abaurre is a retired full professor and collaborator at the Linguistics Department, Institute of Language Studies, Unicamp. She holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the State University of New York/Buffalo and a postdoctoral internship at the University of Vienna. She was president of the Brazilian Association of Linguistics from 1989 to 1991 and of the Linguistic Studies Group of the State of São Paulo from 1987 to 1989. She is a CNPq 1A productivity fellow. His research topics are Phonological Theory, Portuguese Phonology, Laboratory Phonology and Writing Acquisition.
Carlos Alberto Faraco

Carlos Alberto Faraco is a full (retired) professor of Portuguese Language at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). He was dean of UFPR from 1990 to 1994 and president of Abralin from 1985 to 1987. He has published several books and articles in the area, being the author of one of the most used manuals on historical linguistics in Brazil. He is considered one of the greatest Brazilian specialists in the work of Mikhail Bakhtin.

Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts of the Federal University of Alagoas/UFAL. She works in the field of Applied Linguistics. She is the leader of the study group Discourse, Teaching and Learning in the Perspective of Applied Linguistics (GEDEALL / UFAL) and is a participating member of the Research in Applied Linguistics group (GEPLA / UFC). She coordinates the Teaching and Learning WG in the Perspective of Applied Linguistics (EAPLA) and is secretary of the Brazilian Association of Linguistics (Abralin).
